250 years of Irish contributions to the United States

January 14, 2026 is the launch of Irish America 250, a national initiative recognizing 250 years of Irish contributions to the United States. The kick-off event will take place at 6.00 pm at the Topper Theatre at Villanova University and will honor Revolutionary War patriot General Stephen Moylan.   Distinguished participants include Her Excellency Geraldine Byrne Nason, Ambassador of Ireland to the United States, and Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA, PhD, President of Villanova University. Check with the Mullen Center Box Office for tickets.
