District 8: Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Schohaire

In the words of Rockland County Division #3 President Chuck Parnow, District 8 continues “to travel the path to normal.”  To be ready to swear in new members at their next meeting in a healthy and safe way at Hibernian House in Pearl River, his division has upgraded its air movement and filtration system. Division #2 in Orange County has prepared itself to receive members and friends again at their popular full Irish breakfast beginning on Sept 12th and continuing every second Sunday of each month.

“Irish Heritage Night” at the NY Boulders game was a great night for members and friends in Rockland County.  In Orange County, Division #4’s annual golf outing on August 13th was a successful, fun-filled fundraiser.

As September approaches, the Fr. Con Colbert Woulfe Division 1 in Ulster County has prepared to resume its annual Labor Day Weekend “Hooley on the Hudson” day of Irish music, dance, and storytelling on Sunday, September 5th.

Grand Marshal Kevin Cummings from Division # 2 in Cornwall is ready to lead this year’s Mid-Hudson St. Patrick’s Parade on Sunday, September 19th starting at 2pm in Greenwood Lake.

The NYS AOH fall meeting will be held on November 6th at Sacred Heart Parish School in Monroe.  Following the morning meeting, a Major Degree will be held in the afternoon.
