Dear Brothers and Friends,
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is proud to once again host the James F. Hayes Golf Classic, supporting the Austin V. Carew Scholarship Fund, and we invite you to join us for another outstanding day of golf, fellowship, and Hibernian camaraderie.
This year’s outing will take place on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the beautiful Sunny Hill Resort & Golf Course in Greenville, New York. The day promises great golf, plenty of laughs, and the opportunity to support a scholarship that continues to benefit deserving students.
We encourage AOH Divisions to organize foursomes, sponsor a hole, and contribute raffle prizes. Golfers of all skill levels are welcome, and the format ensures that everyone can enjoy the round. Along the way you’ll find refreshments, our famous stops along the course, and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the day with fellow Hibernians and friends.
Following golf, participants and guests will gather at the Shamrock House (2388 NY-145, East Durham, NY 12423) for a buffet luncheon and the presentation of awards.
Event Details
Golfer Registration: $150 per player (includes golf, refreshments, and buffet luncheon)
Hole Sponsorship: $125 (includes a sign that you keep after the outing)
Non-Golfer Luncheon Option: $60
Divisions are encouraged to submit their player registrations and hole sponsorships by April 17, 2026 so we can properly prepare signage and organize the foursomes for a smooth and enjoyable day.
The James F. Hayes Golf Classic has become one of our most enjoyable statewide gatherings each year, bringing together Hibernians from across New York for a day that supports a truly worthy cause. We hope your Division will join us again this year and help make the 2026 outing our best yet.
