Auburn Division #1 Welcomes State and National Officers at Installation

The Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) John F. Kennedy Division #1 of Auburn, New York recently held an Installation Ceremony for its officers at the AOH Hall on Van Anden Street.  The Division welcomed New York State Vice President Tom Lambert, who served as the presiding officer for the event.  Vice President Lambert was assisted by AOH New York State Treasurer Tom O’Donnell, New York State District #1 Director Owen Cole, AOH National Director Liam McNabb and Past AOH National President Ed Wallace.

 

 

Bronx County Divisions #3 and #4 Host Officer Installation Dinner

The officers of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) Bronx Divisions #3 and #4 were installed at a dinner ceremony at the Wicked Wolf Restaurant on Thursday, January 11. The ceremony for the organization, which celebrates Irish heritage, was conducted by Robert Nolan, the organization’s county president. Attendees were treated to Irish flute music by Andrew McCarrick and songs by Friendly Sons of St. Patrick’s tenor Jim O’Farrell

Saratoga and Watervliet Divisions Install Elected Officers in Combined Ceremony

In a joint ceremony, Officers of the Watervliet and Saratoga Divisions of the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) were installed at a dinner which was hosted at the Watervliet Hibernian Hall.

AOH National Director Liam McNabb presided over the installation ceremony with the assistance of National Organizer Tim McSweeney, and Past NYS President Peter Durkee. New York State District #1 Director Owen Cole and Albany County President Tim Weklar served as Marshals during the ceremony.

Newly sworn in Division Leaders shared their vision for the New Year and will actively work to grow the Order.

Division # 7 in Rochester NY held their Annual Mass and Officer Installation this past weekend. Their Mass and Installation was attended by many County at State Officers who enjoyed the evening of fun, food and live music.

Division #7 President Jim O’Reilly was honored as the Hibernian of the Year for his many years of dedicated service to the local Irish Community.

On June 21,  AOH National Director Dan Dennehy installed the officers of The Bronx County Board.  He proudly presented the leadership gavel to Bob Nolan who was elected to a 3rd term as Bronx County President of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.

The Installation Ceremony was held at the Charles Bajart American Legion Post on McLean Avenue in Yonkers.

 

Division #1 in Auburn Holds Officer Installation Ceremony

 

 

On an unseasonably balmy January night in Auburn, State President Tim McSweeney installed officers the John F. Kennedy Division #1 of Cayuga County. President McSweeney was assisted by State Secretary Tom Lambert, State District #3 Director Tim Kirwan, National Director Liam McNabb. They were joined by many honored guests including Past State Presidents Jim Burke and Mike McNabb, Past National President Ed Wallace and the legendary National Secretary Emeritus Tom McNabb. Bob Oliver took the helm as Division President and Denise Sodus was installed as the Ladies Division President.

Syracuse Division Marches for Life and Installs Division Officers

 

Members of the Commodore John Barry Division #2 take part in the Syracuse March for Life

 

On January 20th, members of the Commodore John Barry Division #2 of Syracuse participated in the Annual Syracuse Pro-Life March. They were joined by National Director Liam McNabb, New York State President Tim McSweeney, New York State Secretary Tom Lambert and New York State District #3 Director Tim Kirwan. After the march, a rally was held outside the office of the Catholic Diocese of Syracuse.

 

Division #2 Syracuse Officers were Installed for 2017

 

On January 21 Jim Eggoff was installed as President of the Commodore John Barry Division #2 of Syracuse. State President Tim McSweeney conducted the Ceremony and was assisted by National Director Liam McNabb, New York State Secretary Tom Lambert and New York State District #3 Director Tim Kirwan.

Bronx Divisions #5 and #7 Officers Installed at County Christmas Gathering

The AOH Bronx County Board held its Annual Christmas Party and Division Officer Installation Ceremony on Wednesday, December 14 at the American Legion-Charles Bajart Post on McLean Avenue in Yonkers, NY.

Bronx County President Bob Nolan presided over the event , where officers from both Division #5 and Division #7 of the Bronx were installed.  President Nolan noted that the AOH is currently experiencing renewed interest and growth in the County.

The 120th Officer installation Ceremony of the Fr. Henry Tansey Division # 5 of Albany was held on December 3rd. New York State President Timothy McSweeney conducted the installation and was assisted by National Director Liam McNabb, New York State District #1 Director Ed Kelley and Schenectady Degree Team Chairman Mike Glenn. Division #5 also honored Ray McDermott as Hibernian of the Year. John Holland was presented with the Albany President’s Service Award and John Levendowski was honored as rookie of the year for 2016.
