NY Hibernians March for Life

The Annual National March for Life took place on Friday, January 27, 2017 in Washington, DC.  AOH State officers and members of the AOH and LAOH marched along with thousands more to show the Order’s support for the Unborn.

Division #1 Jeffersonville Conducts Officer Installation Ceremony

The AOH Sullivan Brothers – Division #1 of Jeffersonville, NY held their Officer Installation Ceremony earlier this week.  The Ceremony was conducted by AOH New York State District Director Dermot Moore and New York State Organizer Keith Reynolds.  Congratulations to Division #1 President JP Graham and his officers!

Members of the AOH New York State Board were not about to let something as trivial as a major blizzard stop them from taking part in the largest Pro-Life event in the world as they participated in the National March for Life in Washington D.C. on Friday.

The Annual March takes place every January 22nd, which is the Anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Roe v. Wade Case. The march has attracted over 800,000 participants in recent years, although this year weather conditions were expected to reduce the number taking part.

Members attended a breakfast hosted by the AOH District of Columbia State Board before the March for Life.


The day began with a mass and breakfast that was hosted by The AOH Washington D.C. State Board, where they were joined by fellow Hibernians from around the country who had also travelled to Washington for the event. The day’s events began with a rally at the Washington Monument followed by a march to the U.S. Supreme Court building.

On Tuesday, March 27th, a catastrophic fire at Bill’s home has rendered it uninhabitable.
