Rockaway Irish Festival Raises Over

$15,000 for Catholic Charities


Shilelagh Law take the stage at the 4th Annual Rockaway Irish Festival.

AOH Division #21 in Rockaway/Breezy Point sponsored the 4th Annual Rockaway Irish Festival this past weekend. The 2 day event featured live music and cultural displays and exhibits.


Mark Edwards, NYS President Timothy McSweeney, and Queens County President John Manning address the crowd.

Initially organized in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, the festival has grown to become one of the premiere Irish Festivals in New York State.

Organizers have stated that initial figures amount to over $15,000 was raised to benefit local Catholic Charities.

The Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 21 of Queens is proud to present its 2nd Annual Rockaway Beach/Breezy Point Irish Festival on Saturday, May 31st and Sunday, June 1st at St. Camillus Church in Rockaway Beach!

Come and celebrate your Irish Heritage during this 2 day event with all day entertainment and music provided by The U2 The Unforgettable Fire Band, Black 47, The Canny Brothers, Celtic Justice, The Cunningham Brothers, Girsa, Jameson’s Revenge, The McLean Avenue Band, The Narrowbacks, and Shilelagh Law!
