Division #16 in Mt. Kisco Supports Local Cancer and Hospice Centers

 

 

 On November 28, 2018 the A.O.H. Division 16 and Ladies A.O.H. Division 16 donated $4,523.00 to Hospice Care of Westchester/ Putnam Counties. The presentation was made at the annual “Tree of Life “ceremony held at the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco, NY. Hospice Care, a non-profit home health care agency provides home health services to patients with advanced illnesses.

On December 15, 2018 the A.O.H. and L.A.O.H. will present a donation of $4523.00 to Rosary Hill Cancer Center  located in Hawthorne, NY. Rosary Hill Home is run by the Dominican Sisters and provides hospice care for incurable cancer patients who are unable to afford care for themselves.

Since 1992 the A.O.H. has donated $248,250.14 to Hospice Care of Westchester /Putnam, Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY and other organizations.  The fund raising drive was administered by Chairman Brian Jones.

The Division is grateful to the following parishes for their help-St. Patrick’s- Bedford, St. Francis of Assisi-Mount Kisco, and Holy Rosary-Hawthorne, St. Lawrence O’Toole-Brewster, St. Matthias-Bedford Hills,and St. Mary-Katonah, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton-Shrub Oak, Holy Innocents-Pleasantville, and St. John and St. Mary-Chappaqua.

     On December 9, 2017 the A.O.H. and L.A.O.H. donated $6,228.00 to Rosary Hill Cancer Center located in Hawthorne, NY. Rosary Hill Home is run by the Dominican Sisters and provides hospice care for incurable cancer patients who are unable to afford care for themselves.

On November 12, 2016 the A.O.H. and L.A.O.H. donated $5,904.00 to Rosary Hill Cancer Center  located in Hawthorne, NY. Rosary Hill Home is run by the Dominican Sisters and provides hospice care for incurable cancer patients who are unable to afford care for themselves.

Since 1992 the A.O.H. has donated $226,903.14 to Hospice Care of Westchester /Putnam and Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY and other organizations.  The fund raising drive was administered by Chairman Charles McGuinness.  The Division is grateful to the following parishes for their help-  St. Mary’s-Katonah,  St. Matthias- Bedford Hills, St. Patrick’s-Bedford, St. Francis of Assisi-Mount Kisco, St. Patrick’s- Armonk,  St. Lawrence O’Toole-Brewster, St.Elizabeth Ann Seton- Shrub Oak, Holy Innocence-Pleasantville, St. Joseph’s- Somers, and St. John’s/St. Mary’s-Chappaqua.

On December 2, 2015 the AOH Division #16 and LAOH Division #16 both of Mount Kisco, donated $3438.46 to Hospice Care of Westchester/ Putnam Counties. The presentation was made at the annual “Tree of Life” Ceremony held at the Holiday Inn in Mount Kisco. Hospice Care, (Visiting Nurse Association) is a non-profit home health care agency that provides home health services to patients with advanced illnesses.
On December 5, 2015 the A.O.H. donated $3,318.46 to Rosary Hill Cancer Center located in Hawthorne, NY. Rosary Hill Home is run by the Dominican Sisters and provides hospice care for incurable cancer patients who are unable to afford care for themselves.
Since 1992 the A.O.H. has donated $215,385.14 to Hospice Care of Westchester/Putnam and Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne. The fund raising drive was administered by Chairman James McHugh and assisted by Grace Murphy, LAOH. Members visited several local parishes and set up collection stations outside the church to help raise funds. The Division is grateful to the following parishes for their help- St. Mary’s in Katonah, St. Patrick’s in Bedford, St. Francis of Assisi in Mount Kisco, St. Lawrence O’Toole in Brewster, St. Patrick’s in Armonk, Holy Innocence in Pleasantville, and St. John’s/St. Mary’s in Chappaqua.
